Wireless WAN Radio powers off automatically

Hi guys, I use Fn+F5 to power on the Wireless WAN Radio to try GPS, but a few mins later, it will power off automatically, is it normal?

details: W510, Windows 7 Ultimate X64

Hi, Go to device manager>under network adaptars> Find your wireless card> Right click and go to properties>  after that go to power manager and untick " allow the computer to turn off this device".

Done.

I have a similar issue where my wireless connection is going on and off constantly. I made the power adjustment to no avail. Happens even when right next to the router. Any suggestions?
