I installed the 30gb version into my w520 (320gb regular hd).  It's primarily used to store documents/images and a virtualbox image.  I also have 4gb set aside for ReadyBoost.  Virtualbox is pretty speedy.  Copying a 3gb file from a USB 3.0 flash drive to the msata in Windows 7 runs about 80mb/sec.  I've seen burst up to 200mb/sec from the USB drive to the msata.  So far so good.  It was definitely under $70, shipped.
