under power plan (maximum performance) I'm choosing under (closing the lid) "do nothing"
I then click on "apply" and then click on "Ok"
When returning to see if the changes were saved the "sleep" is still there/.
OK I give. Can someone recommend a power plan I can download and then get rid of this POS?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. After uninstalling Thinkpad power manger under "control panel" Is there a new application I can install? something a bit simpler to configure or are you thinking that reinstalling the Lenovo product might function properly after a fresh install?
Thanks

forgive my rookieness. I've uninstalled power manager and of course now there is no way to monitor battery condition or anyway to control standby or sleep functions.
How do I reinstall Power Manager?
I tried just minutes ago after updating PM to the latest version a few setting changes but still no chages will save.
Thanks for your help.

OK, OK. I did the Lenovo Tool box update and was recommended to install the newest PM. I did a fresh install and tested the "close the lid" do nothing. Apply/Ok
Success it saved
Thanks for the advice.
