Re: concerning about W500 warranty NEED HELP__MARK

Mangojaijai,

Thanks for sharing your concerns...

Please send me a private message with your system model and serial number (don't post them in public) so that I can check the base & extended warranty status.    If you purchased the extended warranty at the same time as the system, please send me your order number so I can see what was sold to you and ensure it has been properly applied.

While this may or may not be relate to your case I think it is worth mentioning for the benefit of others...

Systems typically either have a 1 year or 3 year base warranty.  One extended warranty option may be purchased and applied to the system.   There are many individual part numbers for these extended warranty options that provide various combinations of time extension - 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, etc, and types of service - changing depot to onsite, and / or adding on accidental damage protection.

The extended warranty runs concurrently with the base warranty - it does not add on to the end of it.

So, if you have a 1 year base warranty and you purchase a 2 year extended warranty - you have 2 years of warranty in total, not 3.  If you need 3 years, you will need to purchase a 3 year extended warranty.

Best regards,

Mark
