(display) Settings cannot be applied properly

Hello group,

 

I am receiving annoying messages when docking my W500 to a HPL1950g monitor running at 1280 x 1024 32bit.

 

"The following settings you have selected cannot be applied properly. Change the setting and try again. Display Configuration."

 

When I dock to a 17 inch monitor rather than my 19 inch this error does not display. Aside from the error message itself, there are no other side effects. I have attempted different display configurations however, the settings are exactly what is being applied.

 

Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?
