Yes, you can ask for a recovery DVD set. Of course, you need to pay for it. And, of course, you need to have Lenovo "hardware".
Best regards.

the dvd that lenovo provides will be recovery dvds so you cannot install windows operation system as using dvd microsoft provided. due to this reason, if you want to install "clean" windows installation, you need to buy from microsoft but you need to install clean windows installation for lenovo systems, no need to buy recovery dvds cause you can burn by yourself.
still if you want to buy, contact lenovo support line.

He doesn't say that he need the RETAIL VERSION of Windows 7. The recovery disk set is a Windows customized by Lenovo.
If he doesn't like some things, he can uninstall them. Then Windows will be "clean".

You should try to run "decrapifier"
http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/home
Is free for personal use.
This will remove some of those 100+ processes that slows your system.
Also you can run MSCONFIG program that is buildin to windows to remove programs/services from boot.
Start--> Run -> type MSCONFIG and press enter to run it.
