In Place Repair W7 Bitlocker?

I bought my x201 with W7 Pro 64-bit and upgraded to 64-bit Ultimate. Having some real issues with backup and concluded an in place repair using a W7 64-bit DVD is the best way to go? How to handle BitLocker which is active? Leave it be and run the repair install? Dont wnat to unecrypt due to time constraints.
