Lenovo 3000 N200 fingerprint reader

Hi all,

I have loaded Windows 7 onto my laptop.  With that I installed Lenovo Fingerprint software.  I believe that I have the correct driver for the fingerprint reader as it shows up without any warning in my devices list.  However the Lenovo Fingerprint Software does not find the reader.  The fingerprint reader is an Authentec AES2501A.

Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it?

Hi which type of Value line system is yours? I could find 2 models from your make,you can check out the exact model number from here and proceed with the installation.

Thank you for your reply.  I have the lenovo fingerprint software application.  When I try to use it I get the message that it cannot find the sensor. 

Do you have any suggestions?
