I just purchased a brand new Lenovo V570 from Best Buy and I'm already having issues with it. Mainly I have not been able to download any programs i.e. Adobe Flash Player, Slimcleaner etc. When I go to the Adobe download page and click it I get a page that says "Thank you. Your download will start automatically". Well it never does, same with Slimcleaner, hit the download button and nothing happens. I've tried looking online for help and on the Adobe help page, I've enabled scripting etc. I'm very close to returning this thing, I really like the looks of it but I'm starting to get a little leary. I also don't want to give Best Buy more money so their Geek Squad can "tune up" my brand new computer, that's just BS!

Are you new to Windows 7?
Are you using internet Explorer?
If so, here is a possibility:
When you click that Download button, do you
see a bar at the bottom open that asks if you want
to Run or Save the file?

Yes I'm using windows 7 and IE and I am new to Win 7. I am familiar with the bar at the bottom and it does not open up when I hit the download button. Nothing happens ugh, it's a brand new computer. Frustrated!

İ remember seing a M/soft Mr Fixit link,
for your particular problem.
Can't find it at the moment however.
