Power Manager Battery Gauge in Win 7

Is there a way, using PM 3.x in Win 7, to get rid of the border around the battery gauge on the taskbar?  I prefer the older way of the battery simply on the taskbar, without a border.

Also, the border is inconsistent.  When the charger is plugged in and the plug shows next to the battery, the border is on both sides, making the battery stand out.  When I unplug the charger, the border is only on the left side, which looks a bit nicer (kind of separates the sys icons and clock/date and battery from the rest).

If you can add an option to get rid of the border display, please do.  If not, at least please make the look consistent whether it's charging or not.  Thanks.

Re: Power Manager Battery Gauge in Win 7

did any one find any solutions to this problem? I'm having similar problems--the Lenovo Power Gauge in the taskbar constantly shows the same thing (both battery percentage and A/C status) while the Windows guage works fine. I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 SP1 on a T410 (2522-w7n) and the system is up-to-date (power manager 3.45 and driver 1.61).

Thanks
