Power button does not work

Hello,

I have the power manager and the power managment driver installed. However, when pressing the power button the system does not shut down as configured in the energy manager.

What's missing?

I did a clean install of Windows 7 on my x200t.

Thanks!!

Re: Power button does not work

It doesn't react at all?

Have you checked Control panel/power options/choose what the power buttons do?

It can do different things when on battery or when on AC.

No reaction at all.

I configured it to shutdown when the laptop is on AC.

Re: Power button does not work

Did you make the configuration on control panel/power options/choose what power buttons do?

Re: Power button does not work

If you mean the panel and options of windows, then yes!

Otherwise please describe what you mean.

Thanks!

Re: Power button does not work

Well, sometimes solutions can be so simple and straightfotward.

Nobody told me to hold the button a bit longer instead of just a few seconds.

I never tried that before because coming from Linux I was used to it that holding the button down for a few seconds shuts down the machine in a rather cold way.
