Power button does not work

Hello, 

I have the power manager and the power managment driver installed. However, when pressing the power button the system does not shut down as configured in the energy manager. 

What's missing?

I did a clean install of Windows 7 on my x200t.

It doesn't react at all?

Have you checked Control panel/power options/choose what the power buttons do?

It can do different things when on battery or when on AC.

No reaction at all.

I configured it to shutdown when the laptop is on AC.

If you mean the panel and options of windows, then yes!

Well, sometimes solutions can be so simple and straightfotward.

Nobody told me to hold the button a bit longer instead of just a few seconds.

I never tried that before because coming from Linux I was used to it that holding the button down for a few seconds shuts down the machine in a rather cold way.
