Reinstalling Win 7 on OEM Laptop [ Edited ]

I just reinstalled Win 7 and when I try to activate it using the cd key I got from the laptop using cd key I got before installing it using jelly bean key finder it gives me an error. I'm using the same key from the same laptop on the same laptop and using the same version (pro 64bit) of windows but I did have it sent in to be fixed and I believe they replaced the motherboard. I do have the lenovo recovery media on hand with the factory image but I would rather keep the clean windows I have now. So how can I activate windows like this?

That's a Serial Licence Key and wont work with non-SLK media.  You need to use the key that is on the COA attached to your ThinkPad.
