System Update for Windows 7?

Hi,

I downloaded the final version of Windows 7 x64 (german) from technet last week and installed it on my Thinkpad SL500.

Everything works fine except some unrecognized devices in the device manager, but I didn't use it much in the last time.

I wanted to install all drivers recommended by Lenovo but I don't want to look and compare at the models download and the Windows 7 special page - thats why I decided to use System Update, but it says Windows 7 isn't supported yet.

My question is if you can give an estimate date when a Windows 7 compatible version of System Update will be released? (even a Beta is fine, its just my private notebook)

Hi,

TVSU will be soo released as working for Win7. However, there are couple of testings left and then it can be officially released. 

However, till now if you want to , please paste here the Hw id of this device and I can check, what's that .

I am using Windows 7 Professional, 32bit, on a ThinkPad Z61m, product number 9453-A11. I would be grateful as well for any up-to-date information about TVSU and for assistance on how best to proceed until TVSU has been released for Windows 7.
