Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me with drivers for nVIDIA Quadro NVS140M on Windows 7 (64-bit) ?
I am running a T61 and recently upgrade to Windows 7 RC only to find that the drivers for my graphic cards are not available.
I have visited the nVidia site and there is a foot note before downloading the drivers, that say "Lenovo user please contact OEM".
I then went on the Lenovo support website and searched extensively to no avail.
Can anyone tell me if there are drivers available and/or a workaround if any?
Thanks in advance...

Hi SouthPaw,
I downloaded the nVidia 185.85 update, but i just get a nVidia splash screen advising that it could not find the hardware to update and then shuts down.
I then looked at the link you sent - and if you click "Products Support" there is a footnote advising the Lenovo users should get the drivers from Lenovo?
I thank you for your help :-)

I have Windows 7 RC(64 bit) running on my T61 with 140M also. The driver is working perfectly. Have you tried running Windows update?

Hi CoreDump
Hey thanks for your suggestion!
It worked!
The update was hidden as 'optional' in Windows Update so it did not update it automatically!
You have to go into "Optional Updates" and select the updates you need...
Thanks again.

Hi, this is my first post, but it seems I'm having the exact problem which both of you have worked out for yourselves. I also have Windows 7 RC(64 bit) running on my T61 with 140M, but cannot find a compatible driver for the 140M. I have tried windows update many times but an update is not offered, not even under the 'optional updates'. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to make this update appear? Or could anyone provide a direct link to the driver you have working? Thanks in advance.
Update: I installed the 64 bit Vista driver from lenovo and everything seems to be working fine.

Yea, it appears that MS took this off the update site. I too got the VIsta drivers from Lenovo but I'm having trouble with the display not appearing when I come out of hibernation. I have to hold down power to power cycle to get control back.
Kinda sucks that IBM makes this so hard for everyone. I'd like to recommend Lenovo but since I can't test windows 7 I'm going to have to wait until they get around to giving us the support. Wierd that Nvidia singles out Lenovo to their updated software.
