Third party internet connection manager

I am losing my internet connection every few days. When I reboot my computer, the connection comes back online. I did not have this problem the first two years I owned my computer.

I have tried everything to fix the problem.

I would like to use a third party internet connection manager. 

Which is the best one? How do I disable the Windows 7 connection manger?

1. You can't disable the system connection manager but can use 3'rd party sw at the same time
2. WebToGo OneClick Internet is very useful connection manager. You can find it on Sony's ftp site. And of course look at the Lenovo Access Connections.
3. I guess your laptop loses internet connection due to the power saving settings for network adapter.

I changed the power saving settings for the network adapter.  Did not help.
