Hi guys,
this seemed interesting and i thought i should share it with you.
it enables multitouch on most laptops and i can confirm it works perfectly on the U330
it only gives two finger scrolls and some 3 finger options
does not give pinch to zoom and does remove chiralmotion
hope this is of use to some of you! ![]()

was trying to enable multitouch before with no luck...
chiral is cool but i think coasting works fine also, but, I don't wanna to lose momentum, can't live without it ![]()
edit:
OMG, it works !!!! it is so cool
as for chiral, well, how can you chiral scroll with two fingers anyway ?!?!?! ![]()
it is perfect, momentum is still here, it's so cool
can't figure out three finger flick thing, what does it do exactly, it should do forward and backward navigation while surfing, or what ?!?!
three finger press works great
I'm so happy with this one, thanx a lot coldlazymo, here is kudo for you mate

I was kind a sad when I saw this thread
edit:
in thread above, there are few guys said that disabling tihinkpad power management did help to reduce crazy battery wearing, so, for ideapad, at the moment, I'm testing if disabling "Lenovo Energy Management Software" will do any good. It can be disabled here:
start > under search type: msconfig and run it as admin > on startup tab find Lenovo Energy Management Software and disable it
from now on, only change is that windows is managing powerplans, not software by lenovo
here you can also find Lenovo Battery Management Software Ver3.0, but, acording to this post:
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Windows-7-Discussion/B
i think it sholud be as it is...
will post my experience later
p.s.
sorry 4 bad english

hopefully Mark_Lenovo could give us a guesstimate, if there are not any updates soon I am just going to sell this crappy laptop on ebay and buy something with a core i3

edlivian,
We are working with ATI on the video drivers - the issue after resuming from suspend that is affecting battery life.
I don't have a estimated date for the fix - I think we've been in this state for about a month. (although the issue is much older and we spent some time trying to recreate it and determine exactly what interactions were causing the trouble) From my experience, it often takes 1-2 months when working through development and getting the supplier involved to get revise code and then test and release as the Lenovo version. So, I would guess probably a couple more weeks.
I'll see if I can get some update for Thursday.
Mark
