I am not good with computers.
So I installed windows 7. Contrary to my expectations, it did not format my disk drive.
I had 3 gigs of free space prior to installation, so I wanted some more free space. I backed up all the things I needed on my external.
So now the QUESTION:
1) What is this 'RRbackups' on my C drive taking over 30 gigs? Is it safe to delete this?
2) What are the essentials that I need to keep?
3) If I delete 'windows.old' from my C drive (created after installing win 7), will everything be ok?
.. any inputs appreciated

"Windows.old" contains your previous Windows installation.
If you're upgrading from XP it contains your previous installation in full, you can still find all your documents etc. And then I'm not sure, but I think that when I did such an installation from Win7, it automatically moved all personal files, the user folder in complete. But then again, I'm not sure about this.
As for "RRbackups", I haven't seen that. The only thing that comes to my mind is "Rescue and Recovery", the ThinkPad recovery system. Is it a separate partition? Because that system has one. I don't know more than that since I've crashed mine.
Still no signature...
