windows office 2010

My laptop came with window 7 office 2010 installed.  I can locate excel starter, however I cannot locate office starter.  The system says it is located in the programs list.  It is not.  When I try to activate it with the product key, it says "invalid".  Is it in the computer or does it need to be downloaded again?
