Is Windows 8 Preview Audio better / louder than Windows 7?

Hi all

For some of the computers, other than Linux, running Windows XP would have an overall louder volume. Is Windows 8 Preview audio better compared to 7 / Vista or is it the same soft volume?

It seems the same to me..Atleast between Windows 8 and Windows 7 on the Y560.

For me too !
The same audio output can't affect to audio quality.
Maybe in windows 8 beta we will C something better

win 8 has significantly reduced volume on my x220 and default driverrs

For me, with a Thinkpad E520, the volume seems to be louder.

Hi Peter,

I install the Windows 8 CP and Dolby is not working! Do you have any solution for that?
