Mobile brandband issues with Windows 8 Beta on X220 Tablet [ Edited ]

Hi everyone! I wonder if anyone of you has the F5521gw in a X220t running on Windows 8 Beta (German). It's the only device that is not working :-( I am currently using the W8 beta driver offered by Lenovo but it still does not cut it. When I look at available networks I only see WiFi but no mobile broadband. I even tried disablng the SIM PIN to make sure it's not a problem on that end. Any hints to get this working? Same issue here, it does atleast work with the Lenovo Connections app but i'd prefer the built in manager
