I'll keep this small and simple. I want to install the Windows 8 consumer preview to test out the new OS, however I do NOT want to lose the OneKey Recovery and the the Original Windows 7 package that came along with my Y560. Now, if I create recovery disks from the OneKey Recovery suite, will I be able to use the discs to restore my laptop to its factory state after I have fresh installed Windows 8. If no, is there any other alternative ?
Thanks for your assistance.

@Zehnsteine Thanks for the alternative tutorial. Sincerely.
But I am looking to have a complete fresh installation, instead of just having a virtual machine with Win 8 on it. Is it not possible ?

Hi vaibhavs
One way of installing Windows 8 consumer preview is to dual-boot. Where you need to shrink your Windows 7 partition to have some space for Windows 8 and it's dedicated partition.
If you create recovery recovery disks from OneKey Recovery Suite, you will be able to use the disc to restore your laptop to factory state after you fresh install windows 8. (Another way)
Things to take note:
Create Recovery Disc
Backup all your Data
Have a nice day!

The link was from several months agoa and not related to the GA release version of Win 8, so would not necessarily be of any use to you.
You'd be better of looking using a search engine to look for a link that uses the GA release version in Win 8
Cheers,
Bill
