Windows 8 fix some issue

Hi, so far my x220 is more quiet on windows 8.

 

Cpu temp is lower then on windows 7.

ThinkPad X220, I7 2620M, 8GB RAM, Intel 320 160GB SSD, IPS screen, USB 3.0, Bluethoot, Cam, Win 7 pro 64, BIOS: 1.17, Model: 4286-CTO, Fabrication date: 07/11

this probably means that Windows 8 uses less CPU and/or GPU resources than Windows 7.

yes, and the OS is globally faster and my RAM and SSD score higher.

Win 8 Dual boot

Can anyone give me the instructions to dual boot windows 8 on Z570? It asks for GPT partion style. I converted my disk to GPT only to find that Win 7 doesn't install the way it does in MBR styled partition. Any help is much appreciated.
