I know the developer preview just came out, but I was wondering when we can see beta drivers for the preview version of Windows 8? I just installed it on the X220 tablet and I can't get the tablet buttons or the trackpoint middle button to work properly.
I know there must be working drivers because they use the X220 as a demo machine in the BUILD keynotes ![]()

I'm pretty sure that's just virtualbox abstracting out the scroll and touch events. Your install of windows 8 isn't seeing the trackpoint device, it's seeing a generic mouse device provided by virtualbox, same with the touchscreen.

edit: I doubt lenovo will release any beta drivers until after microsoft releases win. 8 public beta as lenovo did with 7 beta

Same here. Tablet buttons do not work. No problem with trackpoint middle button, though. Current (Windows 7 x64) drivers for other hardware seem to work OK out of the box, including Access Connections with Sierra 3G card.
