B450 - cannot record any sound streamed via web - Can You?

My B450 laptop can play sound via the built in single speaker, and I can listen to youtube vids etc, but though trying various video and sound capture programs, none has been able to record sound?

I am running XP SP3, it has the standard audio drivers from the Lenovo support page for the B450, which also has Nvidia geforce with cuda.

Has anyone been able to record sound streamed from the web with their B450?  I need to capture the sound output from the speaker - not with an external microphone, but internally via a suitable driver.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

You'll need something like Virtual Audio Cable.

I finally found a program that captures sound - NCH software - Debut video capture professional - free version.

It somehow detects the audio stream where all others I have tested dont.
