Recovery Restart fails to create starter disk of recovery DVDs

Recovery Restart error while creating starter disk of recovery CD/DVDs.

On Lenovo 8168D5M Thinkcentre with Windows XP Professional I get error message when creating recovery DVDs.

Message: The file required to create the boot disk cannot be found. (I can create the rest of the recovery set, but not the starter disk.

I have downloaded and reinstalled RR Version 4.23.0017.00 and message persists.

i would like you to head over to http://support.lenovo.com.

after using quickpath to locate drivers for your unit, look in the download list. There are older versions of Rescue and Recovery, could you uninstall the current version that you have and install a later version.

see if that works for you.

at the same time do a full system update, especially the bios of your unit.
