Ok I run a t60 windows xp pro, My restore will not work I can not make a disk, which I failed to make before. How can I restore my laptop from the partison.

It is a 2007 w6u, Also I try to download thinkvantage but I can only run win in safe mode and it does not work.

hey Dechef,

when you tried to make a recovery disc, was there any error message ? if yes, could grab a screenshot and paste it here.

also is the Rescue&Recovery for your unit at version 4.23 ? whether it is or isn't , uninstall it and then head over to >> http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS012872

download, install and try again. I also suggest heading to >>http://support.lenovo.com and update your unit.
