new copy of my OEM ms windows xp ?

Guys, I've got a thinkpad r61, but because of some bad thing that had happened my rescue partition has been deleted and now I don;t have my original windows. Is it possibnle to download it from soemwhere? I've got my serial number and everything needed to authenticate my copy of windows.

you can download somewhere but i don't think your serial will work on downloaded windows systems.

cause microsoft provides special version of windows for lenovo.

contact lenovo support line and ask for recovery dvds.( lenovo may charge you )

It will work if you get an OEM version I did the testing with a cleaner Windows XP Home OEM version (that laptop comes with Windows XP Home too) and it work flawlessly.
