It seem no one from Lenovo can tell me how a $800+ non-working X61 tablet got sent to me so I am hoping some in this group might know how. "This is my story" My wife has a older X32 and wants a upgrade so I take a look on Lenovo's site and see a X61 table listed that looks like something that could work for her. I check with her and she said go for it.so I place the order and wait. I here nothing for Lenovo (2week) 3 days later box shows up. Things look good so far. Well I open box to find a very, very dirty X61 Tablet in the box. Ok I can clean that I hope. 37 min later I have a cleaner Tablet now. I put the batt. in and plug in power, starts up task bar tells me to replace batt becouse it is bad and can not be charged. OK I will shut down and try again (why would they send a bad batt.). I remove batt and place back in and a hear a odd sound, shake softly and here the odd sound again. Ok something is not right so I had better check things out. I remove keyboard and find the hard drive fell out becouse it has nothing holding it in (no rails). Now I have to send it back to be repaired for 5 more days. So does any one know of a way to get this this thing up and runing faster. I can't see how this was shipped to me this way. All Lenovo can tell me is they checked it 2 times before sending to me. How was the drive installed with no rails to hold it? How long did they think I would be happy with a bad battery? How hard is it for them to do a little clean up on the tablet? It could have made a new user sick from the dirt on it. I just don't see why my wife has to wait 5 more day for a working tablet she payed good money for. What does it cost to get good support from Lenovo? Any help or insight to help us with Lenovo support would be of great help.
