Trying to install a BIOS update on an X200 tablet that is already running Vista64.
Using instructions on a Vista64 for burning the BIOS update onto a bootable CD, the recording software does not open as documented. Those instructions are here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
I then installed the Roxio burner that was shipped with the system and have tried a few ways of burning to the CD, after first searching for "bootable CD" to find a correct procedure. In each case Roxio says the burning completes. Upon restart, the system spins the Ultrabay drive but the screen remains blank except for the blinking cursor in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. A separate computer in the office says the burned CD's have 0 bytes of content.
The boot device order appears to be correct.
What am I missing?
Thanks,

Just checkin - you're not using any Roxio option which makes the disk bootable are you?
With an iso image, you just burn the iso image.
It is an image of the entire CD, whatever is on it, including all boot info which is there.
I don't have Roxio, but burner software normally has only one way to burn an iso image.
Windows 7 has iso burning built in. Joy.

The bios ISO is not corrupt, the Roxio burning engine needs an update
