Can't unlatch my X61t!

Some people shouldn't be allowed near computers...

Just received a new X61 tablet, my 4th Thinkpad but first tablet. I've been going through Access Help, trying things out. I'm trying tablet mode, turned the display around and pressed down til it latched. Seems to work fine, so now I want to go back to notebook mode, and I can't get the danged latch to unlatch! It doesn't press in, it doesn't slide... how is it supposed to work???

Estupido! Sorry, it's been a long and gruelling day. Same way you unlatch it to open it from closed!!!
