Thanks Agotthelf. I've watched his videos before, but the problem we're experiencing isn't anything we can fix on our own. I'm sure we've all done many calibrations and I know that I, at least, have done an extensive calibration using tabcal with no improvement.

I called and spoke with tech support extensively.
First, they sent a replacement digitizer, to no effect.
Now I'm waiting on a new display.
I'll let you know what happens.

I have the same issue and it first I though it was working sometimes and not others. I just now realized its just a specific part of the panel. With the keyboard open the bottom right you can't touch the corner, it jumps all over the place, the top left works perfect up to the edge. When I go tablet mode with keyboard still facing me its now the top left of the panel. It will start moving faster than the pen. It seems to adjust a little if you calibrate in in laptop mode versus calibrating it in tablet mode.

I have similar problems to hp79. Don't really have the time to go through as much diagnostics as him however (classes and such over the summer.. bleh). I'd like to know if theres a solution for htis, as its a pain to have to shift the onenote page over just to write near the edges ![]()
My info:
BIOS: 1.11***
Win 7 Home / Pro / Ulti / Enterprise: Pro
x64 / x86: x64
SP1: SP1
Power Manager: 3.59
Power Management Driver: 1.62
UltraNav: 15.3.6 (driver), 2.13 (utility)
Enhanced MultiTouch driver: 7.0.2-19 (ISD Tablet)
Tablet Button Driver II: 1.04
Tablet Shortcut Menu: 6.26
Lenovo Screen Reading Optimizer: 1.06
Hotkey: 6.42.00 (On Screen Display)
GPU driver: 8.15.10.2342
***I'm using BIOS 1.11 because that is the version that has been unlocked for wifi whitelisting. I purchased the system with the Intel 6205 and found that it had CRAPPY reliability (all of my connections would be disconnected, but the system still showed the wifi as connected.. this happened every ~30 minutes). I ended up throwing in a Killer 1102N card and have had no problems since. Also, I've had this issue even with BIOS 1.16.. and none of the fixes that those BIOS updates fix really apply to me (haven't had major throttling/fan issues).

Has anyone had any further correspondence with Lenovo? Mine is going back to buy.com on Tuesday if not.

My machine will be arriving next week and this edge thing makes me nervous. Would really like to see some messaging from lenovo around this issue. Clearly if it is globally impacting, they would have observed it in QA... what gives?

Some people (like me) prefer not to report the issue as we would rather have a poorly functional machine than no machine at all. Notice all those who have called support in this thread have been asked to send their units in for "repairs" (which never solves the problem).

Does anyone not have this issue?
