How do I get the screen to rotate 90 degrees so that I can indeed use it as a tablet.

There is a button on the lower left of the screen to the right of a partial circle with an arrow; I push this button with both my finger and the stylus and nothing happens. Where am I going wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Not much help but that is the right button to click to rotate..it may just be faulty...

Sounds like a faulty button. You can rotate by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Arrow Key, but I don't know if that's enabled by default. Maybe look through the tablet pc settings in control panel if that doesn't work. I think mine did it, but then I disabled it. There's also an accelorometer feature to automatically rotate that you can enable as well. It's a little finicky so I wouldn't use it exclusively.
