Hybrid sleep bug on X61T (Vista 32)

I have hybrid sleep enabled for AC and battery modes. On AC mode, it works perfectly: first the laptop goes to sleep and after a set amount of time, it shuts completly down and goes in hibernation. However, on battery, the laptop goes to sleep and never goes into hibernation. Has anyone solved this issue?

i have similiar problems, but a little worse. sometimes it won't even go into sleep first, not to say hibernation, regardless if A/C is plugged. But sometimes it seems fine. so far i still can't pin point the problem or replicate the normal or abnormal functions as i wish.

anybody has any suggestions?

x61 tablet, vista 32bit ultimate
