Issues following Bios update - Computer freezes with plug in and unplugs

Since updating bios on my x200 tablet (not multi-touch), any time I plug in or unplug my power, my docking station, my mouse or my external hard drive , the computer freezes up and requires a reboot.  It's a real inconvenience.

 

I have turned off hibertaion because the scren would gray out (lights still active) requiring a reboot as well.

 

Anyone with similar problems know of a fix?

 

PS It's win 7, 4GB, Intel 82567LM, camera, solid state finger swipe, etc.
