I have bought a 12W Sleeve (Lenovo Part Number 51J0476) to protect my X200T from scratches when carrying it in another bag.
I am using the 8 Cell battery on the X200T. When the battery is fitted to the X200T, the sleeve has be stretched over the computer to get the zippers to move. Stretching the sleeve applies a lot of pressure to the screen which is pushing it into the keyboard (and I fear this will result in the keys marking the screen). Even when the sleeve is stretched the zippers will not fully close.
It seems like the 12W is slightly too small to fit the X200T when the 8 cell battery is installed. Without the battery, the X200T fits comfortably into the sleeve, without needing to stretch the sleeve to close the zippers.
The features and benefits given on the Lenovo website for the 12W sleeve state that
• Fits ThinkPad notebooks up to 12-inches wide with their extended battery, including the ThinkPad X200 / X200s / X200 tablet notebooks
• Black exterior colour and red interior colour matches your ThinkPad notebook
• Neoprene construction
• Limited lifetime warranty
So the 12W sleeve is supposed to fit the X200T with the 8 Cell battery, but there seems to be either a design or manufacturing problem with the sleeves.
Can anyone let me know if they have encountered issues with the 12W Sleeve? Should I contact the warranty department about this issue, or is there better point of contact about this issue?

I have a similar problem with x200T in a 12W case too - extended battery barely fits in the sleeve, and is definitely not convenient for sliding the laptop in/out. I don't know about the support contact though, someone have ideas?
