Loose LAN Socket

RJ45 connectors fit loosely into the LAN socket on my X220T leading to disconnections when either the system or cable is moved. Connection is often a matter of trial and error with some physical adjustment often needed to establish communication. The same cable fits perfectly into other laptops which I own.

 

Does anyone have a similar issue or a possible solution?

it should fit snugly. Do you have another LAN cable to try, if all things fail, get warranty service on it.

Is any of the pins in the LAN socket bent back?
