I'm very curious as to what's in the 4298F1U tablet (found here: http://www.provantage.com/lenovo-4298f1u~7LENO2TC.
They are a bit cheaper than the models in the tabook with apparently the same specs.

Hi dbman190,
The tabook (or we call it psref) is just for reference and will not show all the models because we have too many models. In addtion, the info of tabook may change from time to time to reflect the most recent models.
We do have 4298-F1U model and it's x220 tablet. It is a legit model.
You can try shopping at lenovo.com by choosing the spec according to your purchase preference, or the specs listed in the page you provided. At the end of the selection, you would see the machine type model (MTM varies depending on specific specs) and the price quoted before you check out.
Alternatively, you can always check the spec at our support page. http://www.lenovo.com/support
- Key in 4298-F1U in the quick path at Lenovo support page
- Click "Product and Parts Details" on the left of the page
- Scroll down and look for "Detailed specification..." under "Overview"
You shall see a lot of stuffs here
Hope these help.
Cheers,
Cleo
