Multi touch LCD panel on single touch X200 tablet

Dear Guyz...

 I am using X200 - 7450 WPR, with single touch display.

Is it possible to change my LCD panel with a multi touch display panel ?

please help me in this !!!!!1

I don't know the X200, but you can try the multitouch driver:

Its not the problem with the driver.

The one I am using now is support only the pen touch. There are some other model in X200 tablet series with multi touch.

So what I am asking is  IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE THE MULTI TOUCH DISPLAY ON MY X200 ?

I am ready to pay for the extra LCD.

But the confusions are:

Do I need to change the LCD cable also ?

The multi touch LCD FRU is out of stock with IBM. So can I get it from any third party ?

Cables are different.  Lid is different.  Microprocessor card is different.  Side brackets are different  The only way to guarantee compatiblity is to buy parts with Lenovo FRU numbers.  If you change the panel yourself, you will void any warranty that is remaining.  If you buy all these parts, you may end up paying as much as the machine is worth, unless you can find a whole assembly.  You would probably be better off selling yours and buying a replacement.

I checked the HMM for X200 tablet and found that the model number (MT/M) rof my laptop ( 7450) the multi touch display category. 

Please lenovo we hope you will give a perfect answer !
