i tried entering my 14-digit serial/product code, but the support page wouldn't accept the serial number. Lenovo Customer service was able to find it when I spoke with them a different time. Unfortunately, they are now closed despite the hours listed on their site saying they are still open.
I think the laptop might have been a custom order bulk business batch. I purchased through a reseller on ebay.
Thanks for the help.

Hi,
The number you are looking for to get the spec, if I understand you correct, is typically a four digit number followed by three letters. On my X200T, the number is "7450-ERG".
See if you can find something like that under your computer. On my computer it is on the same label as the serial number, printed before the serial number, and it says "Type". This is the numer you should use.
To get the spec you can go to Lenovo's homepage, and click "support and downloads".
When you open that page a small field saying "Enter a product number" reveals. Type in the "type number" there.
When you press enter a page saying "Important information", opens. Under there you should find the product specification, and just below the product specification you also find links to "Downloads and drivers" "Parts information", "Manuals", etc.
I hope this helps you.
Kind regards.
