No mobile broadband.

Hi.

I have a lenovo thinkpad x201t 2985-DMG which was delivered with win7-32.

I have reinstalled it with win7-64bit.

I have not yet got the touch to work.

But more troublesome is the GOBI2000 mobile internet.

I use Access Connections 5, and I set up a new location profile.

When I press connect it takes a while then it says:

'SIM card is not present. Insert the SIM and try again.'

I have tried with two different SIM-cards which works in other machines.

Do I need a driver for the SIMcard-reader or could mine be broken?

You did try inserting them the right way?

It happened to me once - I was inserting it wrong side first
