I was experiencing some flakiness with my multitouch screen today where the stylus worked in the the laptop orientation but didn't work in tablet mode. Then, after a reboot, it later worked in tablet mode but not in laptop orientation. Usually, it works in both.
I tried un-installing and then re-installing the multitouch drivers at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-67
So, I tried following in the footsteps of my last problem with the X200 tablet and the stylus not working correctly.
http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message?board.i
where I uninstalled the multitouch driver, installed the Wacom one at (http://www.wacom.com/tabletpc/driver.cfm?CFID=4718
So, I went through the uninstall process again hoping that re-installing the Wacom one would at least give me stylus functionality. But now that doesn't seem to work either, and uninstalling the Wacom driver and reinstalling the Lenovo multitouch driver still doesn't do anything either for either touch or stylus. Looking at the control panel, the multitouch driver seems to have installed correctly.
Now, either my screen is broken or I still have driver issues. Does anybody have any suggestions outside of a total re-install? I'm using Vista Business 64.
Thanks,
Steve

i got the same problem. i wonder if the screen of x200 tablet is truely multi-touch at all.
meanwhile, the pen supplied doest not function at all, (constantly on select mode).
afer a whole day research on internet, i realized this is a very common problem which Lenovo has not gave a clear solution yet.
(my OS: Windows 7 professional x64)
any one can get a response from Lenovo?

I have the same issue running Win 7 64bit.
Have tried just about every combination from downloading the drivers from Wacom which just BSOD the machine and the Lenovo drivers. I even went as far as to update the firware on one of the units using http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.p
If I reformat the drive and load the OS it works but eventually reverts back to the same issue.
