ThinkVantage System Update didnt install one update/driver

Hi,

I run update and it seems like ThinkVantage System Update didnt install one update/driver exactly: Intel WiMAX for Windows Vista 64-bit. I can see this by "View installation history".

Now the question is: how can I make TVSU redownload this update again and install ?

I know that I can do this manualy by downloading  software from Lenovo drivers website but for example If I had to reinstall few more drivers this wouldnt be the quickest method.

it would be helpful if you could post which ThinkPad and Operating System you have, even better post the Type and Model Number this will help members to help you. If it ends in CTO please provide some details about the ThinkPad. Please do NOT post your s/n.

Its Lenovo X200 Tablet. Product: 7448CTO. Windows Vista Business 64bit. Its a fully loaded tabled without multi touch screen ...

I had same issue with my X61s. At installation history it says its not installed. So how can I install it again with TVSU ?

Here's the WiMAx software you need.

Interestingly, it is not in the X200 Tablet Drivers and Software Matrix, and one would think it should be. This may be connected with the fact that ThinkVantage System Update is no longer picking it up.

I would report the fact fact that the WiMax software is not in the matrix via the Site feedback link on the Lenovo support site, and mention that TVSU is also not picking it up. I've had good luck getting web site errors fixed promptly (often less tha 24 hours).

But still TVSU doesnt list it in history as installed.

Is there any way to force the TVSU to search for installed updates on computer ?

If you installed it manually, TVSU won't log it. TVSU searches for updates for the Lenovo software it knows about. As I said in my last post, I suspect it doesn't know about the WiMax driver.
