Wireless Printing ?

I have an X60 Tablet and want to print wirelessly. Does anyone know if I just need to buy an adapter for any printer or whether I need to buy a wireless one?

Re: Wireless Printing ?

You have a few options here.
This yoke lets you print wirelessly from 1 PC/laptop to 1 printer.
Some wireless routers have also a printerport (Parallel or USB) built in.
You can get wireless print servers.
And you can also connect a separate printserver to your wireless router, which is what I did.
My Trendnet TE100-P21 allows for 1 parallel and 2 USB printers.

Re: Wireless Printing ?

You can also network your laptop, with your desktop, and set your desktop to share its printing service. You can than network to your printer, and print. This is what I do untill I can purchase a wireless adapter as stated above.

The only downfall is that the desktop has to be on to access your printer.

Re: Wireless Printing ?

you can use a wireless print server on your wireless network.
I use the D-Link DPR-1260

I had some problems with wireless scanning (could not recognize the scanner... was suddenly working 5 minutes later...) but wireless printing has been flawless from day 1!!
Highly recommended!
