Good day.
I purchased a manufacturer refurbished ThinkPad X220t with warranty for one year. The laptop came with a factory seal.
When I turn on a notebook, the operating system(win 7 Prof 64bit) automatically install. At the end of installation in device manager all devices have been identified and worked fine. But in computer details in the "system" was written “No Pen or Touch Input is available for this display”.
Then I installed all the drivers on a laptop from Lenovo website again and again.
That did not help.
Then I reinstalled windows (win 7 Prof 32bit).
That did not help.
Previously, I had two X200t and when I installed windows 7, the digitizer immediately was detected, for the good work of the touchscreen it was necessary to install drivers. But the situation with the X220 for me incomprehensible.
Explain what I did wrong.
The type of ThinkPad printed on the back label is 4294-CTR(in BIOS the type is 4294-CTO).

@Hotcom
Reinstall Windows 7 Pro 64bits following my method there (assuming you own the 64bits version activation key).

I had this exact same issue and was told by support that my only option was to return the computer. So, it was returned.
Hopefully you have better luck than I did.
I can say that I ordered another one and this time the screen seems to work. (Did not come with a pen, will be calling about that Monday.)
