Does anyone know if you can set the X220 to automatically turn on the touchpad and trackpoint when switching from tablet mode to notebook mode? Everytime I swich they are off and I have to enable them in ultranav. I would think that automatically enabling the touchpad and trackpoint when switching would be pretty standard, no?
Thanks for the feedback

Hello ColonelONeill,
I am running all the latest drivers and the latest UltraNav. After playing around with it some more the problem seems to be completely random... or at least it only seems to happen when I am not trying to recreate it. Strange.

I have the same issue. It consistantly happens when coming out of sleep mode. Very frustrating.

just jumping in to say that I'm having the same problem. switching back and forth from tablet to laptop mode the mouse must be manually toggled on. Very annoying.

@karifinnih and whoever else that wants to know:
When you experience the bug and need to manually reenable your touch pad, press Fn+F8 to bring up the UltraNav devices settings menu and select "enable TrackPoint and touch pad."
@lenovo
I started this thread a while ago and the problem remains. Obviously other people have it too. This is such a fundamental thing that should work everytime for a device like this. Please look into it if you havn't already. Thanks.

For anyone interested. This problem appears to be fixed in the latest Thinkpad UltraNav Driver 15.3.27.1. There is no mention to this problem in the readme changelog, so I don't know how it happened. That said, I haven't had to manually turn on the trackpoint since I upgraded the driver 2 days ago.
