X220T flicks not working in browser

I recently purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad X220 Outdoor convertible tablet PC.  having issues with the "flicks" navigation actions working on webpages.  Do you know why?  Tech support does not even know what a digitizer pen is or what flck actions are so I've turned to the community forum for answers.  I even purchased the extra 2 year on site next day service plan however have gotton no where.  Have now had my computer a week and can't even use it.
