X220T "ThinkPad" Yellow on startup

Hi Everyone,

I recently got myself the X220T and it was working fine until earlier today that the screen started to flicker in Windows 7. I thought the device was hot and shut it down. After a while when it was completely back to room temperature I did a cold start. The problem is that the "ThinkPad" logo in the start of the bootup sequence seems to have changed to a off white more yellow color and have a little bit of ghosting just around the letters.

In Windows the screen would flicker and just dissapear and come back at own will.

Anyone know what this can be?

Pretty useless if you ask me because the screen seems to be on it's way out because when I startup with external monitor everything is fine.

Now the pain or pleasure in trying to get the thing fixed
