Please tell us if you use the factory installation or a clean install and which video player is in use.
What power plan do you use in Lenovo´s energy manager?
Some players prevent the computer from going to sleep, I think this is not an issue to return the whole laptop.
Just a software glitch, or perhaps it is working as design, since a lot of people prefer to watch and not that the computer goes to sleep while watching. ;-)
