Hey Everyone..
I just received my X230 Tablet the other day..
Well I really like it except for a few weird things that I dont know should really be there or not.
One concern is the following: On the Windows login page (when you turn the computer on and the page where you have to input your windows password to get any farther..).----- Well on the "On Screen" Keyboard there is an outline/shading from the "Think" logo that appears behind the question mark, up, right, left, down, shift, and enter buttons. It really does not look like it should be there.,..but I attached a few pictures i took with my phone.
If any of you also have this appearing on your screen, or if this is normal...could you please respond.
Thanks all.

I don't think it's a defect, at least, unless you can call hideous design a defect. I've always been baffled by the modern ThinkPad backgrounds. They're unsightly:

It gives the distinct impression that every ThinkPad laptop has a screen defect. You can't tell what's a reflection and what's the background, and the gradient itself looks like it's a non-dithered 256 color image.
Failing to anticipate that the "Think" looks weird with an on-screen keyboard is, sadly, indiciatve of designers who don't know what they're doing (or management who doesn't understand good design).
