X60 Tablet won't boot up

I wa on ebay last night and all of a sudden my screen went to text and it said an error occured, and that windows recognized a new device. I am not sure it my hard drive crashed but that is what it sounds like. Windows automatically restarted but it won't go past the ThinkPad screen. Any ideas on how I can test this?

It sounds like some device died. I would start with the hard drive, because it is easiest. Pull it out and see if you can get to the bios. Then, if that doesn't work, if you have 2 memory cards, try one, then the other. After that, You need to start pulling things out (wireless card, turbo memory, wwan, etc) sorry
